Jerry and Judy Cannady have formed Paradise Realty of GA/SC to help buyers and sellers with their property needs in the Lake Hartwell area.
Jerry has been licensed since 1990, and obtained his broker license in 2005. He retired from the information systems project management field after working in the telecommunications and product distribution industries for over 35 years. He is a golfer and a member of the Golden K service club as well as an avid boater.
Judy is an inactive real estate salesperson. She had a career as a nurse in the Atlanta area before retiring to the lake. She enjoys gardening, boating and playing with her five grandchildren.
Judy and Jerry have been coming to Lake Hartwell since the 1970s, renting lake houses for vacations, then buying a lot on the lake and building their part-time first lake home in the 1980s. After enjoying Lake Hartwell on a part-time basis for many years, they built their current lake home recently and are proud to call Lake Hartwell their home.
Adding to a family connection in the real estate business, Judy and Jerry have a son, Mike Cannady and a daughter-in-law, Michelle Cannady in the Atlanta area who are also in the real estate business. They also have a son, Jerry Cannady, Jr. who owns a business in the Atlanta area, and a daughter, Catherine Miller who is a pediatrician in Columbia, South Carolina.
